When making our Amaretto Nut Cake, we begin with flour that is made from red winter wheat, sourced from Vermont’s own Nitty Gritty Grain Company. This gives the Amaretto Nut Cake its delicious, moist, and soft crumb. Next, we stir in free range eggs raised just down the road from the bakery. We then add rich Cabot Creamery butter, sugar, brown sugar, and cinnamon (ground on site) before adding in a host of walnuts, almonds, pecans, Brazil nuts, golden raisins and apricots. The mix is not complete without its final ingredient – E. Dolce Amaretto in just the right amount to give our Amaretto Nut Cake that distinct flavor that you will no doubt love instantly. We next sprinkle in some loving care by baking the Amaretto Nut Cake at just the right temperature in our farmhouse ovens.
