Ingredients
Our Apple Cider Cake is made the old-fashioned way, with lots of tender loving care and down-home goodness! We bake our cakes from scratch so they are flavorful and have a melt-in-your-mouth texture that you’ll fall for from the first bite! We start out by using flour that is ground from local red winter wheat, sourced from a local grower, the Nitty Gritty Grain Company. We use butter from Cabot Creamery, a Vermont dairy. Next, we add eggs grown free range on a neighboring farm. Then we put in just the right amount of locally brewed apple cider that has been processed using the same techniques that Vermont apple farmers have been using for centuries. Next, we add in high quality raisins, golden raisins, pineapples, currants, orange peel, lemon peel, brown sugar, and spices that we buy from the local co-op. Once everything is mixed by hand, we bake your Apple Cider Cake without nuts to perfection in our ovens, then package them to send on their way to you.
