The following is a list of ingredients we use in our cakes, squares and granola along with where the ingredient originates.

Vermont Suppliers

Apple Cider: Cate Hill Orchard, Greensboro, VT. Joshua Karp provides cider produced from 100 year old apple trees here in Greensboro Vermont.

Butter: Cabot Creamery, Cabot, VT. is a farm family-owned cooperative in the hills of Vermont producing all natural richer and full-bodied butter providing increased taste made from pure, natural Vermont cream.

Cranberries: Vermont Cranberry Company, East Fairfield, Vermont. Bob Lesnikoski and his family produce about 30,000 pounds of cranberries from his three acres of man-made bogs. His sorting is rigorous, yielding a crop of gorgeous, large berries which we use in the Lemon Cranberry Squares, a perfect food gift.

Eggs: Sunshine Acres Hardwick, Vt. is a family run farm raising free-range chickens which product cage free eggs we use in our specialty cakes and dessert squares to provide quality in all your cake gifts.

Flour: Nitty Gritty Grain Company of Vermont is a small family-owned certified organic farming operation committed to producing delicious, wholesome, locally-grown Red Winter Wheat.

Honey: Honey Gardens Ferrisbury, Vt. Committed to offering the highest quality Apitherapy raw honey made from truly raw honey.

Maple Syrup: Maplehurst Farm, Greensboro, VT. Located in the hills of Northeast Kindgom, literally a few hundred yards from the bakery, the Gebbie family has been sugaring from their Sugar maple trees for five generations. The maple syrup is all natural and the farm is owned and operated by the Gebbie family. Buy a quart or a pint as a great add-on to any corporate cake gift.

*Many of the dried fruits we source are imported (Orange peel from Spain, Apricots from Turkey … etc. ) or grown and dried in another state (blueberries from MI). Vermont doesn’t (yet) have a facility that can dry fruits on the scale we need. When that becomes available we hope to source dried currants from local folks.
